Come walk back into the days of the “Old General Store”, where you could buy just about anything your heart desired; where you could catch up on all the small town news, and you could just slow down and sit a while with family and friends.

Of course times have changed, but you can still visit with us at the General Store area of the National Cornbread Festival on the streets of downtown South Pittsburg.  While visiting with all these wonderful people, you can get a taste, and take back home all kinds of barbeque sauces, (including white sauces), rubs, a large variety of yummy homemade candies, chocolate jellies, marinades, award winning hot sauces, jams, jellies, preserves, fruit butters, peanut & pecan brittle, and great smelling candles.  We’ll have easy-to-prepare packaged food and gifts.  You’ll see the products of our hometown artists with their old time walking sticks, and beautiful pieces of art in pen and ink and watercolor drawings.
