
4-H is a family affair and the National 4-H Cornbread Cookoff Contest is a great way for families to spent quality time together in the kitchen. 4th grade 4-H Club member from across the state and nation have the opportunity to get out their Lodge cast iron skillet and Martha White Corn Meal and create a unique and tasty cornbread recipe. Approximately 200 recipes are submitted each year and 10 lucky finalists are invited to National Cornbread Festival to prepare their recipe for a distinguished panel of judges. The prize money is great, the festival is fun and the experience is one the youth treasure for a lifetime.
