Sift dry ingredients together, separately mix egg yolks, buttermilk & sour cream together; combine dry with wet and incorporate peppers - do not over mix. Whip egg whites in mixer to stiff peaks; Gently fold whipped egg whites & diced butter into batter. Bake in greased pan for approximately 40 minutes at 350 degrees.
