We are making our camping reservations now, we were first timers last April. Drove all the way down from just south of Chicago! We had such a great time at the Cornbread Festival we are making the trip again! Everyone was so nice and friendly, the town was very  nice , clean and we just have to come back! I originally read  about the festival in a sunday paper and thought it sounded like lots of fun, with my father being raised in the South , we always had cornbread on the table! So what better way than to have fun! We enjoyed watching Johnny Nix cook out in the open , loved the Cornbread Alley, and I so loved taking the tour through the Lodge Cast Iron facility! Found out that the cast iron skillets my gramma left us were made right there!! Needless to say I tell everyone here about what a great time we had last year, and we are looking forward to being there again this year!! See Ya's!

As a new resident to TN and living in South Pittsburgh, this event is fabuously fun and truly enjoyable for my husband...we're in the process of retiring here.  We came to the 2008 festival but weren't able to come in 2009, but now that we're moving here 2Q 2010 we plan on being at every event!
