Arts and Crafts![]() To All Artisans and Crafters:In 2010, The National Cornbread Festival will celebrate its 14th anniversary. The Festival is held in downtown South Pittsburg, Tennessee, a historic town nestled between the Cumberland Plateau and the Tennessee River in the beautiful Sequatchie Valley. South Pittsburg is located south of Interstate 24 just 30 miles west of Chattanooga. The Festival has received extensive media coverage including national exposure on Food Network’s “Great American Festivals” and in Southern Living and Taste of the South magazines. The fourteenth annual (Year 2010) National Cornbread Festival will begin Friday evening, April 23 and end Sunday evening, April 25. As before, it will host a cornbread cook-off, entertainment, food, arts, crafts, and a carnival. The festivities will begin Friday night with a street dance. Food vendors will be open. Arts and Crafts vendors may also be open if you wish. All applications must be returned by January 10 in order to be considered for the 2010 Festival. It is our intention to accept the top sixty-five from the applications received. We will also attempt to have as little duplication of product as possible.
