Sloppy Joe Cornbread

Ingredients

2 cups self-rising Martha White® self-rising cornmeal

1 cup Mayfield® buttermilk

1 egg

1 cup browned and drained ground beef

¼ cup tomatoes and green chilies

1 cup tomato soup

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Pour into a greased 12 inch Lodge® cast iron skillet or a 9 X 13 greased pan.
  3. Bake at 400° F for 20 minutes until golden brown.
